This promotion is open to employees of Value Added Resellers who are resident in EMEA and who are 18 years of age or older at the time of registration. The promotion is open to both sales reps and sales engineers. Employees must obtain the prior permission of their employer to participate in this scheme. The promotion is open to participants of the Quantum Plus Reseller Reward Program.

Employees of Quantum, their affiliated companies, advertising agencies, gift suppliers or other representatives, or members of the respective immediate families of such employees and anyone with whom such employees are domiciled are ineligible to participate in the offer.


Participants are required to register for the Channel Stars Challenge and claim points for eligible Quantum products sold during the promotional period.

Participation is on an individual basis. Participants can only claim points for products they have sold individually. Participants cannot claim points for products sold by other individuals, and it is expressly prohibited to combine sales by multiple sales reps under one Channel Stars Challenge account.

Quantum is not responsible for lost, corrupted or delayed claims. Only one account per person is permitted.

Participation constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Quantum reserves the right to disqualify anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.


This promotion runs from 01/09/2016 until 31/12/2016 (inclusive).


Personal data which you provide when you register for the scheme may be used for programme communications and future Quantum marketing activity.

Sales reps and sales engineers can both claim points for any given product sale. Points will be awarded to a maximum of one sales rep and one sales engineer per product sale. 

There is a claim limit of 5 products per individual deal.

Points are awarded on initial sales of base systems only. Expansion modules and slot upgrades are not eligible.

Points will be awarded on a bi-weekly basis to each participant based on their claims for the previous two-week period.

Participants’ points totals will be stored and displayed in a leaderboard, accessible via the Channel Stars Challenge website.

Bonus points will also be awarded during the promotion for participation in webcasts and for other activities. Bonus points will be added to individual participants’ accounts and can be exchanged for prizes. Bonus points, however, do not count towards the Prize Trip, and are not included in leaderboard scores.

Claims must be made via the Channel Stars Challenge website and must include the following information: customer name, date of sale, product sold, quantity sold, and where possible invoice number and product serial number.

Claims must be made by 15/01/2017. Claims submitted after this date will not be eligible.

Claims for product sales can be made in the Channel Stars Challenge promotion in addition to the Quantum Plus Rewards program. The two programs can be stacked.

All claims will be verified by Quantum prior to points being posted to the Channel Stars Challenge leaderboard.

Points can be exchanged for prizes in the Channel Stars Challenge online catalogue, accessible through the promotion website.

Once a prize has been ordered, participants’ points totals will be reduced by the number of points corresponding to the prize ordered.

Prizes will be sent to winners by DHL (or equivalent courier service) within 4 weeks of participants oredering prizes via the online catalogue.

Prizes cannot be returned once shipped.

Prizes are as stated and are not transferable. No cash alternatives are available. Prizes listed above may not be available in some regions of EMEA. In those cases, Quantum and/or Corporate Rewards Ltd reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. 


At the end of December the top performing rep (in terms of total number of points for product sales during the promotion) will win a trip for two to their choice of London, Paris or Rome. One randomly drawn participant will also win a trip for two to their choice of London, Paris, or Rome.

The top performing rep is deemed to be the rep who, at 31/12/2016, has earned the most number of points during the promotion, irrespective of how many points have been redeemed for prizes. An online leaderboard tracks the cumulative points earned by each participant for product sales during the promotional period. Participants can view their position via the leaderboard tab on the Channel Stars Challenge website. Bonus points do not count towards the prize trip and are not included in leaderboard scores.

Participants must have sold at least one product, and claimed the corresponding points, to be included in the random draw for a trip.

The European weekend breaks include three nights’ accommodation in a 4 star hotel and round-trip economy airfare for 2 from an airport in the EMEA region.

All trips must be taken prior to 15/12/2017 and must be booked through Corporate Rewards a minimum of 8 weeks prior to travel.

A maximum of 1 trip per company will be awarded. In the event of a tie, the trip will be awarded to the sales rep or sales engineer with the highest revenue total across his or her eligible claims based on Quantum SalesForce.com data.

Winners of the European city trips consent to their name and company being made public and being used in Quantum marketing materials.

Prize trips are as stated and are not transferable. No cash alternatives are available.


Prizes and rewards may be considered a taxable benefit to the recipients. At the request of individual winners Quantum will work with individuals to pay the tax liability and National Insurance/social security contributions arising on behalf of employees. Corporate Rewards Ltd will not account for any social security or National Insurance or tax liability arising from this promotion.

Quantum and Corporate Rewards will absolve themselves from any liability arising from any National Insurance Contributions arising from this prize.

No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this promotion or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Quantum’s decision shall be final.  Quantum and/or Corporate Rewards reserve the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this scheme at any time without notice.

Quantum and/or Corporate Rewards cannot guarantee the performance of any third party and shall not be liable for any act or default by a third party.   Employees in this incentive scheme agree that Quantum and Corporate Rewards will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, costs, damage or disappointment of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse or use of a prize, or from participation in this promotion.  Nothing in this clause shall limit Quantum’s or Corporate Rewards’ liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or arising out of fraud.

Quantum or Corporate Rewards reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the promotion.
